Calling all hopeless romantics who want their sims to unlock their romantic potential immediately. With the new Sims 4 expansion pack – Lovestruck – there’s a new romance skill. At each level your sims’ will gain the ability to court other sims in more fun and unique ways.

This post explains exactly how to cheat your sim’s romance skill level, so they become love experts in a second and don’t have to use up lots of game time honing the skill. The following cheat can be used to increase or decrease your sim’s romance skill level.

Step 1 – Enable Cheats

Make the cheat bar appear in the top left hand corner of the screen by pressing:

  • Command + Shift + C on PC.
  • CTRL + Shift + C on Mac.
  • All four triggers on console.

Type in “testingcheats on” and press enter to enable the use of cheats.

Step 2 – Romance Skill Cheat

Type stats.set_skill_level major_romance X into the cheat bar and press enter. Replace X with the level of the skill you would like your sim to obtain.

The cheat bar is not case sensitive. Below I have written out the cheat for each level, so that you can copy and paste the cheat code that you want to use!
