Holidays were added to the game in the Sims 4 Seasons expansion pack. Halloween is not one of the pre-made holidays in the pack, but you can easily create the holiday yourself. There are traditions in the pack specific to Halloween like “wear costumes” and “trick or treat”.

If you are a big fan of everything spooky and want to turn your sim’s home into a haunted house for Halloween, then you may enjoy the additional decor and gameplay features that are included in the Sims 4 Spooky Stuff and Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff packs. The Spooky stuff pack includes lots of new decor and costumes. The Paranormal stuff pack includes the new Haunted House lot type and the ability to become a paranormal investigator!
Final Thoughts
It’s easy to create a halloween holiday with the Sims 4 Seasons, which I do almost every time I start a new save. However, the Sims 4 Spooky and Paranormal stuff packs are great if you don’t have Seasons or you just wanted to add extra spookiness into your game.
