From scenic parks to cosy beach sunsets, there are plenty of dreamy locations to make proposals in the Sims 4 truly unforgettable. It probably won’t take long to see that I have a soft spot for waterfalls – they create some of the most beautiful backdrops! Here, I’ve compiled a variety of proposal spots, including both base game locations and some that require additional packs. In no particular order, let’s get into it!
Through Pink Light
World: Sylvan Glade (aka Willow Creek)
Neighbourhood: Foundry Cove
Sylvan Glade is a secret world that makes for a perfect romantic spot. You can find this world by first locating the tree next to the Crick Cabana lot in the Foundry Cove neighbourhood of Willow Creek. Click on the tree to view it and then water it several times in a row before an option to enter it will appear. Your sim will find Sylvan Glade by entering the tree.
Mediterranean Views (Wedding Stories)
World: Tartosa
Neighbourhood: Terra Amorosa
There’s a cute bridge between the two residential lots in the Terra Amorosa neighbourhood. With good weather (if you own Seasons), the view of waterfalls from there is stunning! Tartosa has many good spots for proposals or romantic strolls on the beach.
Heart in the Park (Lovestruck)
World: Ciudad Enamorada
Neighbourhood: Plaza Mariposa
Proposing next to a heart-shaped pond or a beautiful fountain sounds wonderful, right? Simply travel to the park lot, Media Naranja, and you can find both very close by.
Enamoured Rider (Horse Ranch)
World: Chestnut Ridge
Neighbourhood: Galloping Gulch
This waterfall and rainbow are on the leftmost side of the map of the Galloping Gulch neighbourhood of Chestnut Ridge. You can ride there together or go for a stroll in the area before popping the question.
City Sights, Flashing Lights (City Living)
World: San Myshuno
Neighbourhood: Uptown
The Skye Fitness gym lot in the city is just one of many places in this world with stunning city skylines. If your sims are exercise lovers, then this might just be the perfect spot to propose.
Howling “I Love You!” (Werewolves)
World: Moonwood Mill
Travel to the New Moon Shack lot and it’s on the left hand side of the map on northside. Click on the boarded up cave and there will be an option to let you through. There are amazing views of the moon at night time from this spot!
Desert Views
World: Oasis Springs
Neighbourhood: Acquisition Butte
In the Acquisition Butte neighbourhood there’s a good view of the desert from the pathway behind the Landgraab estate.
Beachy Love Life (Island Living)
World: Sulani
Basically every location in this world is picture perfect. This photo was taken next to the Pier Perfection lot in the Lani St. Taz neighbourhood.
Glamorous Hills (Get Famous)
World: Del Sol Valley
Neighbourhood: The Pinnacles
In The Pinnacles neighbourhood, there’s a large terrace behind the Ward mansion. Travel there to get stunning views over the city as your picturesque proposal backdrop.
Deep in the Jungle (Jungle Adventure)
World: Selvadorada
On holiday in Selvadorada your Sims need to start their jungle adventure at the trailhead to get closer to the majestic waterfall. This perfect proposal spot can be found after the first gate (I recommend picking up a machete at the marketplace first to ensure your sims make it through). The best thing about this proposal spot is that sims will naturally become flirty when close to this waterfall!
Grand Gardens (Get Together)
World: Windenburg
Neighbourhood: Windslar
The gardens behind the Von Haunt Estate lot are perfectly manicured and designed for a romantic walk between partners. There’s a wedding arch at the end of the way, so this area doubles as a beautiful proposal spot and perfect place to elope.
